Information collected from customers may include –
Names, phone numbers and/or email addresses of customers or relevant other persons as provided by client
Locations to be attended which may include homes, offices or event venue addresses
Nature of events (wedding, birthday etc)
Information collected may be used for communication about and attendence of events to provide requested drawing services.
This information is not passed on to other persons or organisations (unless it should be lawfully requested by authorities).
Credit card transactions will be processed securely and no card details will be stored by Cartoon Guy.
Live Caricature Payment Policy:
Bookings for available dates are secured only after a 50% deposit has been received and acknowledged by Cartoon Guy.
In the case of non business-related events the balance is due in cash during the first hour of the booked session. Non-payment at that time may result in cessation of services.
In the case of corporate or business-related events balance payment will be accepted via electronic transfer or cheque within 7 days of completion or within an alternative timeframe by prior written agreement.
Live services are provided at a pre-arranged date, time and place as detailed on invoicing.
Remote Cartooning Payment Policy:
Commissions are secured only after a 50% deposit has been received and acknowledged by Cartoon Guy.
The balance amount will be payable prior to delivery of the finished work, after the forwarding of a watermarked sample of the completed work.
If notice of cancellation is received by Cartoon Guy earlier than 30 days ahead of the booked time, half of the deposit amount will be refunded.
If notice of cancellation is received by Cartoon Guy within 30 days of the booked time, no refund of the deposit will be made.
Secured timeslots are held for the client, precluding the taking of other bookings for that time or where travel may impinge on that time.
In the case of a postponement by the client the Cancellation terms above will apply.
Cartoon Guy may at his discretion apply monies already received to a future mutually suitable date.
If I am unable to complete the service due to a circumstance affecting Cartoon Guy and through no fault of the customer I will attempt to provide a suitable replacement service provider at no added cost to the client.
If no suitable replacement service provider is available I will provide a refund of any monies received, proportional to the period of unavailability.
In the event of a major external influence preventing provision of services (eg natural disaster, health regulations), any unused funds will be refunded.
Services will be provided to a standard similar to that shown on the website and at previous events.
Cartooning and caricature drawing are artistic interpretations and while it is Cartoon Guy’s aim to satisfy, individual reactions to the artwork may vary.
If the customer believes satisfactory service has not been provided they may communicate their concerns in writing to email@example.com and I will respond accordingly.
